WEBVTT 00:25.770 --> 00:27.490 Welcome to Inquisition Update. 00:27.750 --> 00:30.690 My name is Tom Friess, and I'll be your host for the next hour. 00:30.950 --> 00:33.510 You're listening to FirstAmendmentRadio .com. 00:33.630 --> 00:34.970 Thanks for tuning in, everybody. 00:35.890 --> 00:39.230 I'm going to proceed now where we left off yesterday in the book. 00:39.290 --> 00:44.790 We just got started on chapter 24 in the book, A Woman Rides the Beast, 00:44.870 --> 00:45.710 by Dave Hunt. 00:46.130 --> 00:48.970 It's entitled, Sacrifice of the Mass. 00:48.970 --> 00:53.470 This is the central feature of Roman Catholicism. 00:53.590 --> 01:00.610 This is the sacrifice, the so-called sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the altars of 01:00.610 --> 01:03.690 the Roman Catholic churches all over the world every day. 01:04.390 --> 01:10.230 It is, well, an abomination. 01:11.730 --> 01:17.410 And if you comprehend what this author is about to tell you about the sacrifice of 01:17.410 --> 01:23.930 the Mass, according to the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, you'll understand, 01:24.050 --> 01:29.610 you'll begin to understand why I say that in the Mass, Roman Catholics eat and drink 01:29.610 --> 01:31.210 damnation to themselves. 01:32.950 --> 01:44.160 This is an unspeakable crime against Christ and an unspeakable crime against 01:44.160 --> 01:52.460 Christians, this teaching that Christ must be perpetually sacrificed, as though His 01:52.460 --> 01:59.620 one-time all-sufficient sacrifice on the cross 2,000 years ago was the beginning of 01:59.620 --> 02:11.040 a perpetual slaughter that Christ must endure for eternity. 02:12.920 --> 02:14.440 It's insanity. 02:16.760 --> 02:22.760 Now before I go so far as to make my listeners believe that I'm overstating or 02:22.760 --> 02:27.040 being melodramatic about this, listen to what Dave Hunt says. 02:27.820 --> 02:33.520 And I think you'll find it consistent with every book that I've read on Inquisition 02:33.520 --> 02:38.160 Update that deals with this so-called sacrifice. 02:39.360 --> 02:41.540 This is Protestant teaching. 02:42.860 --> 02:49.780 This teaching, once realized, after reading the Scriptures for themselves, 02:50.520 --> 02:54.620 the Protestant Reformers came out of the Roman Catholic Church. 02:55.840 --> 03:01.880 And the Protestant Reformation liberated all of Europe and broke the iron chains of 03:01.880 --> 03:04.040 papal tyranny all over the world. 03:05.740 --> 03:11.200 The truth about the Mass must be heard and understood by God's people today. 03:11.200 --> 03:18.340 Especially of those who have been tempted and lured back into the Roman Catholic 03:18.340 --> 03:22.580 Church post-Vatican Council 2 and ecumenism. 03:23.920 --> 03:29.660 Listen to what they've bought in going back to the Roman Catholic Church. 03:31.720 --> 03:34.860 This is entitled again, Sacrifice of the Mass. 03:35.860 --> 03:41.180 He says, we've come to the very heart of Roman Catholicism, that unique element 03:41.180 --> 03:46.840 which separates it from all other religions and especially from Evangelical 03:46.840 --> 03:51.000 Christianity, the Sacrifice of the Mass. 03:52.280 --> 03:58.120 It is, quote, the sacrifice of the cross, which is perpetuated. 03:59.120 --> 04:04.340 It is the source and the summit of the whole of the Church's worship and of the 04:04.340 --> 04:06.320 Christian life, unquote. 04:07.620 --> 04:13.440 Declared present on the altar through the miracle of transubstantiation, 04:13.600 --> 04:19.360 they say, which only the Roman Catholic priest can perform, is the, quote, 04:19.620 --> 04:25.920 true body and blood of Jesus Christ, who is really and substantially present 04:25.920 --> 04:32.480 under the appearance of bread and wine, in order to offer himself in the Sacrifice 04:32.480 --> 04:38.000 of the Mass and to be received as spiritual food in Holy Communion, 04:38.320 --> 04:38.960 unquote. 04:40.680 --> 04:47.440 Christ said from the cross just before he died, quote, it is finished, unquote. 04:47.440 --> 04:50.280 John, chapter 19, verse 30. 04:51.100 --> 04:54.500 But to the Roman Catholic, it isn't finished. 04:55.540 --> 05:02.100 Christ's sacrifice continues to this day, being endlessly repeated on Roman Catholic 05:02.100 --> 05:02.780 altars. 05:03.580 --> 05:10.180 Quote, each time the Mass is offered, the sacrifice of Christ is repeated. 05:11.180 --> 05:18.700 A new sacrifice is not offered, but by divine power, one and the same 05:18.700 --> 05:20.620 sacrifice is repeated. 05:22.040 --> 05:28.660 In the Mass, Christ continues to offer himself to the Father as he did on the 05:28.660 --> 05:30.240 cross, unquote. 05:31.220 --> 05:38.040 But in a, quote, unbloody manner, under the appearance of bread and wine, 05:38.620 --> 05:39.160 unquote. 05:40.880 --> 05:45.200 Now, this is where we ended yesterday on the program. 05:46.340 --> 05:47.780 Now we'll continue. 05:49.100 --> 05:52.480 He says Calvary was a very bloody scene. 05:53.380 --> 05:58.220 How there could be an unbloody repetition thereof is not explained. 05:59.200 --> 06:05.040 Furthermore, the Bible distinctly says that, quote, without shedding of blood, 06:05.160 --> 06:06.880 there is no remission. 06:07.480 --> 06:09.620 Hebrews, chapter 9, verse 22. 06:10.480 --> 06:15.320 That is, without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. 06:16.400 --> 06:19.040 Jesus saved us by his blood. 06:21.120 --> 06:24.440 The Mass is said to be an unbloody sacrifice. 06:24.440 --> 06:29.560 According to the scripture, it has no efficacy whatsoever. 06:30.720 --> 06:38.980 He continues, he says, yet the, quote, unquote, unbloody Mass is deemed to 06:38.980 --> 06:40.560 bring remission of sins. 06:41.500 --> 06:47.280 A remission which is not needed, for Christ already obtained it on the 06:47.280 --> 06:47.820 cross. 06:48.480 --> 06:55.240 The Bible says, quote, and he took the cup, saying, this is my blood of the New 06:55.240 --> 06:59.580 Testament, which is shed on the cross for many for the remission of sins. 07:00.060 --> 07:03.130 Matthew, chapter 26, verse 27 and 28. 07:04.500 --> 07:10.720 To him, Christ gave all the prophets witness that whosoever believeth in him 07:10.720 --> 07:17.800 shall receive, that is, as a gift of God's grace, remission of sins. 07:17.820 --> 07:20.240 Acts, chapter 10, verse 43. 07:22.200 --> 07:25.320 So how many sacrifices are there? 07:26.500 --> 07:28.120 Or is there just one? 07:29.780 --> 07:36.700 The Mass is called a propitiatory sacrifice, in which, quote, Christ offers 07:36.700 --> 07:42.860 himself perpetually for the salvation of the entire world, and the work of our 07:42.860 --> 07:45.140 redemption is accomplished, unquote. 07:45.140 --> 07:51.780 In contrast, the Bible repeatedly emphasizes that the full penalty for sin 07:51.780 --> 07:53.520 was paid upon the cross. 07:54.420 --> 08:00.960 And on that basis, the resurrected Christ, quote, entered in once into the holy 08:00.960 --> 08:06.560 place, having obtained eternal redemption for us, unquote. 08:07.180 --> 08:08.740 Hebrews 9, 12. 08:09.980 --> 08:16.540 There he is seated at the Father's right hand, our great high priest, Hebrews 4, 08:16.620 --> 08:24.000 chapter 14, representing those he has redeemed, where, quote, he ever liveth, 08:24.460 --> 08:26.540 which means he dies no more. 08:28.720 --> 08:33.400 He ever liveth to make intercession for them, unquote. 08:35.260 --> 08:41.720 Who needeth not daily, as Old Testament high priests, to offer up sacrifices? 08:42.760 --> 08:47.780 For this he did once, when he offered up himself on the cross. 08:48.460 --> 08:50.820 Hebrews, chapter 7, verse 27. 08:52.140 --> 08:57.820 The contrast between Roman Catholicism and what the Bible teaches could not be 08:57.820 --> 09:02.580 greater than with regard to the alleged sacrifice of the Mass. 09:03.400 --> 09:08.660 That difference is exposed with stark clarity in the distinction which the Bible 09:08.660 --> 09:15.520 emphasizes between the one sacrifice Christ made of himself, and the continual 09:15.520 --> 09:19.660 Old Testament sacrifices which had to be repeated daily. 09:20.240 --> 09:25.640 The repetition of those offerings is given as proof that they could not pay the 09:25.640 --> 09:32.200 penalty for sin, and the fact that Christ was offered only once is given as proof 09:32.200 --> 09:37.840 that his sacrifice was sufficient and never needed to be repeated. 09:38.320 --> 09:42.800 That the Mass must be repeated proves its ineffectiveness. 09:43.640 --> 09:50.740 If once is not enough, then neither would be a billion repetitions, nor can Rome say 09:50.740 --> 09:55.420 how many Masses it takes to get even one out of purgatory. 09:55.420 --> 10:01.640 The many Old Testament sacrifices of animals were anticipatory types of the one 10:01.640 --> 10:07.200 sacrifice of Christ upon the cross, which would accomplish what they could 10:07.200 --> 10:07.620 not. 10:08.160 --> 10:16.140 The Bible allows no misunderstanding, quote, Nor yet that he, meaning Christ, 10:16.680 --> 10:22.180 nor yet that Christ should offer himself often as the Jewish high priest entereth 10:22.180 --> 10:28.520 into the holy place every year with the blood of others, for then he must have 10:28.520 --> 10:30.800 suffered since the foundation of the world. 10:31.500 --> 10:37.940 But now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the 10:37.940 --> 10:43.380 sacrifice of himself, and as it is appointed unto men once to die, 10:44.080 --> 10:51.260 but after this the judgment, though Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many. 10:51.900 --> 10:57.160 For the law can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year 10:57.160 --> 11:03.720 continually make the comers thereunto perfect, for then would they not have 11:03.720 --> 11:04.940 ceased to be offered. 11:04.940 --> 11:11.720 But this man, Jesus Christ, after he had offered one sacrifice for the sins 11:11.720 --> 11:19.120 forever, sat down on the right hand of God, for by one offering he hath perfected 11:19.120 --> 11:22.280 forever them that are sanctified. 11:23.100 --> 11:26.960 God says their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 11:27.720 --> 11:33.900 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sins. 11:33.900 --> 11:42.400 Hebrews chapter 9 verse 25, chapter 10 verse 2, chapter 10 verse 12 through 18. 11:43.180 --> 11:45.320 It's quite obvious from the scripture isn't it? 11:45.820 --> 11:49.800 What Jesus did on the cross was to be done once and once only because it's all 11:49.800 --> 11:50.300 sufficient. 11:51.120 --> 11:57.680 To repeat that act symbolically in the mass is no less than a total repudiation 11:57.680 --> 11:59.880 of what Christ did, a total rejection. 11:59.880 --> 12:05.080 It's a band-aid placed over a completely healed wound. 12:05.740 --> 12:07.680 Scripture could not be clearer. 12:08.740 --> 12:15.100 Christ's sacrifice took place once and for all time upon the cross and is never to be 12:15.100 --> 12:20.820 repeated, because it paid the full penalty for sin, the full penalty for sin. 12:21.390 --> 12:28.540 That the mass is Christ being sacrificed over and over on Roman Catholic altars is 12:28.540 --> 12:30.900 the very heart of Roman Catholicism. 12:31.600 --> 12:36.680 And the repetition of the mass is the Roman Catholic Church's main hope of 12:36.680 --> 12:39.080 eventual release from purgatory. 12:39.680 --> 12:42.860 That doctrine directly contradicts the Bible. 12:43.820 --> 12:45.580 Vatican Council 2 declares, 13:01.620 --> 13:08.160 If this is true, then Jesus Christ's death upon the cross was not sufficient, 13:08.840 --> 13:11.520 but only a partial payment for sin. 13:11.520 --> 13:17.280 Yet the Bible assures us that he paid the full penalty for our sins. 13:18.000 --> 13:21.520 Under the subtitle, The Impossibility, Dave Hunt continues, 13:32.700 --> 13:38.840 Christ's sacrifice upon the cross occurred at a specific time and accomplished its 13:38.840 --> 13:39.260 purpose. 13:39.260 --> 13:45.860 This historic event may be and should be remembered and honored, but it can no more 13:45.860 --> 13:52.860 be perpetuated or repeated or re-represented than yesterday's news or 13:52.860 --> 13:54.420 any other past occurrence. 13:55.180 --> 13:56.240 And why should it be? 13:56.980 --> 14:03.700 Since by that one offering he, quote, perfected forever them that are 14:03.700 --> 14:05.840 sanctified, unquote. 14:05.840 --> 14:10.540 The Christian's faith is in Christ's sacrifice upon the cross. 14:11.460 --> 14:17.560 The Roman Catholic's faith is in the Church and its alleged ability to repeat 14:17.560 --> 14:20.140 that sacrifice upon its altars. 14:20.680 --> 14:25.700 Yet even the Pope can't say how many such repetitions may be needed. 14:26.580 --> 14:32.460 Thus many Roman Catholics designate large sums in their wills so that their deceased 14:32.460 --> 14:37.380 hundreds or even thousands of masses will be set on their behalf. 14:38.160 --> 14:43.680 This doctrine breeds uncertainty, not the calm assurance that Christ offers 14:43.680 --> 14:44.440 in the scriptures. 14:45.200 --> 14:48.520 The pocket Catholic dictionary declares, quote, 14:56.020 --> 14:59.680 How much benefit in each mass? 14:59.680 --> 15:01.700 No one knows. 15:02.700 --> 15:08.260 Furthermore, Christ is now in a resurrected, glorified, immortal body at 15:08.260 --> 15:11.240 the Father's right hand, never to die again. 15:12.060 --> 15:14.920 He cannot be sacrificed in the mass. 15:15.760 --> 15:20.680 Christ declared, quote, I am he that liveth and was dead. 15:21.100 --> 15:23.150 And behold, I live forevermore. 15:24.760 --> 15:31.680 Revelation 1.18 Moreover, his body, which now lives in the power of an endless 15:31.680 --> 15:40.450 life, see Hebrews 7.16, contains no blood, which is the life of mortal flesh. 15:41.500 --> 15:44.390 His resurrected body is immortal. 15:44.390 --> 15:51.390 Under the subtitle, flesh and bone, a resurrected body without blood, 15:51.530 --> 15:56.750 Dave Hunt continues, When Christ first came to the disciples that resurrection 15:56.750 --> 15:59.710 evening, they thought they were seeing a spirit. 16:00.550 --> 16:06.770 To prove he was alive, he said, quote, Handle me and see, for a spirit 16:06.770 --> 16:08.850 hath not flesh and bones. 16:09.730 --> 16:13.010 Notice he did not say flesh and blood. 16:13.010 --> 16:22.670 As ye see me have, unquote, Luke 24.39 Doubting Thomas, absent on that occasion, 16:23.490 --> 16:28.710 declared skeptically, quote, Except I shall put my finger into the prints of the 16:28.710 --> 16:34.050 nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 16:34.610 --> 16:42.630 John 20.25 When Christ returned a week later, he invited Thomas to do just that. 16:43.010 --> 16:49.330 Quote, Reach thither thy hand, and thrust it into my side, and be not 16:49.330 --> 16:51.550 faithless, but believing. 16:52.230 --> 17:00.710 John 20.27 Clearly Christ's wounds had not healed, but remained as memorials. 17:00.990 --> 17:05.330 The gaping hole in Christ's side into which Thomas could thrust his whole hand 17:05.330 --> 17:09.150 is further evidence that there is no blood in his body. 17:09.770 --> 17:15.730 Blood is the life of mortal flesh, and Christ's blood was poured out upon the 17:15.730 --> 17:16.990 cross for our sins. 17:17.650 --> 17:23.490 Quote, For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the 17:23.490 --> 17:28.950 altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh an 17:28.950 --> 17:30.350 atonement for the soul. 17:32.110 --> 17:40.070 Leviticus 17.11 Yet, the wine is said to become Christ's blood upon the Roman 17:40.070 --> 17:45.250 Catholic altars, and the blood of his crucifixion body that was resurrected 17:45.250 --> 17:45.870 immortal. 17:46.770 --> 17:52.690 To repeat or to perpetuate the sacrifice of Christ, his pre-crucifixion body must 17:52.690 --> 17:54.030 be reconstituted. 17:54.810 --> 17:59.810 This stunning feat is allegedly accomplished through the so-called miracle 17:59.810 --> 18:07.690 of transubstantiation, changing bread and wine into the literal blood and body of 18:07.690 --> 18:08.190 Christ. 18:08.810 --> 18:14.710 Therefore, quote, The priest is indispensable, since he alone, 18:14.890 --> 18:21.390 by his power, can change the elements of the bread and wine into the literal body 18:21.390 --> 18:22.590 and blood of Christ. 18:23.110 --> 18:23.710 Unquote. 18:24.450 --> 18:35.040 Under the subtitle, The Vatican Role of Transubstantiation, Dave Hunt continues, 18:35.940 --> 18:41.780 This is the hocus pocus of the priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church. 18:41.960 --> 18:44.260 This is where we get the term, hocus pocus. 18:45.020 --> 18:50.920 The Latin words that the priest utters over this so-called wafer, this so-called 18:50.920 --> 18:56.260 sacrifice, this bloodless sacrifice of the mass, this little piece of bread. 18:57.080 --> 19:05.380 The Roman Catholic priest is said to offer five Latin words, magical, mystical Latin 19:05.380 --> 19:09.840 words, that performs this miracle of transubstantiation. 19:10.480 --> 19:12.140 Hocus corpus meus. 19:12.900 --> 19:15.540 This is the body of Christ, they say in Latin. 19:16.260 --> 19:22.120 And the little bell rings, and Jesus apparently, according to the teaching of 19:22.120 --> 19:27.220 the Roman Catholic Church, dismisses himself from the throne at the right hand 19:27.220 --> 19:32.280 of God the Father, and comes down at the order of the priest and indwells that 19:32.280 --> 19:33.060 piece of bread. 19:33.860 --> 19:38.940 This is what Roman Catholics are instructed to believe, on pain of 19:38.940 --> 19:41.460 excommunication and eternal damnation. 19:42.120 --> 19:49.580 This is what the ecumenical evangelicals, who know not God, have united themselves 19:49.580 --> 19:52.800 ecumenically with the Roman Catholic Church. 19:53.320 --> 19:57.700 And the Protestant churches, the so-called Protestant churches, the ecumenical 19:57.700 --> 20:04.520 evangelical churches, they are slowly but surely being taught to think of the bread 20:04.520 --> 20:10.020 of communion as the literal blood, body, soul and divinity of Christ to be 20:10.020 --> 20:13.400 sacrificed again, even on evangelical altars. 20:14.040 --> 20:18.260 This is the abomination that worketh desolation in the spirit of all who 20:18.260 --> 20:20.100 participate in this abomination. 20:20.100 --> 20:27.220 He says, due to the alleged miracle of transubstantiation, the host, or the 20:27.220 --> 20:33.140 wafer, which is eaten at mass, is worshipped as Christ himself. 20:33.960 --> 20:39.940 The same devotion is directed to additional blessed wafers, reserved in a 20:39.940 --> 20:46.180 tabernacle, a small box-like receptacle covered with a veil, and with a light 20:46.180 --> 20:47.860 perpetually burning nearby. 20:47.860 --> 20:55.740 The devout come and pray to the wafers, therein as though to Christ, believing 20:55.740 --> 20:58.760 they are his holy presence. 20:59.700 --> 21:02.160 Mother Teresa expressed this belief. 21:02.320 --> 21:08.400 Listen to what so-called Mother Teresa said about the Eucharist, about the wafer. 21:09.000 --> 21:16.020 It is beautiful to see the humility of Christ, in his permanent state of humility 21:16.020 --> 21:17.140 in the tabernacle. 21:17.860 --> 21:23.500 Where he reduced himself to such a small particle of bread, that the priest can 21:23.500 --> 21:25.200 hold him in two fingers. 21:26.480 --> 21:29.040 You talk about delusion. 21:29.960 --> 21:34.400 That our Lord and Savior, who is now glorified, sitting at the right hand of 21:34.400 --> 21:42.180 the Father, should humiliate himself perpetually, occupying not the throne of 21:42.180 --> 21:47.560 God, but to be placed in a little gold-plated dollhouse within every Roman 21:47.560 --> 21:48.480 Catholic Church. 21:49.100 --> 21:50.700 A little doghouse. 21:50.800 --> 21:56.540 Have you ever seen the tabernacle of the Roman Catholic Church where Jesus lives? 21:57.300 --> 21:59.600 I mean, you can't make up this stuff. 22:00.320 --> 22:02.620 And people believe this all over the world. 22:03.500 --> 22:07.640 And they believe that you must believe this too. 22:07.640 --> 22:15.320 And if not, then you are a heretic deserving of what Rome has dished out to 22:15.320 --> 22:17.940 God's people for nearly 2,000 years. 22:18.720 --> 22:27.580 Torture, interrogation, rape, pillage, burning, confiscation of property, 22:28.220 --> 22:34.300 confiscation of children, denounced as a heretic, and treated like the scum of the 22:34.300 --> 22:36.680 earth even being denied a Christian burial. 22:37.640 --> 22:39.620 Their bodies to be eaten by dogs. 22:40.300 --> 22:42.420 This is the history of the Roman Catholic Church. 22:43.280 --> 22:48.140 To be a true Roman Catholic, you must believe, like Mother Teresa, that Jesus 22:48.140 --> 22:54.320 Christ is perpetually humiliated, being reduced to a mere piece of bread, 22:55.060 --> 23:00.820 and stowed away in a little gold-plated dolly house on the altar of the Roman 23:00.820 --> 23:06.840 Catholic Church, to be bowed down to and prayed to as though it were Christ. 23:07.640 --> 23:09.300 What a grand delusion. 23:10.220 --> 23:12.380 What a satanic counterfeit. 23:13.180 --> 23:19.040 We are to have nothing, nothing whatsoever to do with it but to denounce it as the 23:19.040 --> 23:20.300 doctrine of Antichrist. 23:20.420 --> 23:22.060 We'll be back right after this. 23:56.690 --> 24:04.830 Visit CrossTheBorder.org to get your print, e-pub, or PDF version of Nicholas 24:04.830 --> 24:08.050 Arthur's new book titled, When the Third Temple is Built. 24:08.370 --> 24:09.970 That's CrossTheBorder.org. 24:10.550 --> 24:14.050 When it comes to prophecy today, much of the Evangelical Christian world 24:14.050 --> 24:18.650 has their eyes on Israel, waiting and watching to see when the Third Temple will 24:18.650 --> 24:19.470 begin to be built. 24:19.470 --> 24:21.250 The plans are drawn. 24:21.370 --> 24:22.690 The Jewish people are eager. 24:23.330 --> 24:27.010 Most Evangelical Christians today believe that the rapture will happen before the 24:27.010 --> 24:27.990 Third Temple is built. 24:28.450 --> 24:29.930 Hi, I'm Michael Eugene. 24:30.490 --> 24:33.130 I was taught that Daniel's 70th week was in the future. 24:33.770 --> 24:35.370 Is that really what the Bible teaches? 24:36.050 --> 24:39.010 Have we searched the Scriptures and found this to be true? 24:39.730 --> 24:43.330 Why is it so important for a re-established Israel to build a Third 24:43.330 --> 24:44.170 Temple in Jerusalem? 24:44.170 --> 24:49.410 Is it necessary to build a Temple on the same location already occupied by the Dome 24:49.410 --> 24:50.090 of the Rocks? 24:50.270 --> 24:54.450 Is it necessary for sacrifices to take place in the Temple on Temple Mount? 24:55.090 --> 24:58.250 Is there really a rapture followed by seven years of tribulation? 24:59.070 --> 25:00.530 What is the New Testament Temple? 25:01.350 --> 25:03.490 Can we identify history and prophecy? 25:04.430 --> 25:07.230 Who is the first beast in Revelation Chapter 13? 25:07.770 --> 25:10.490 Who are the seven kings in Revelation 17? 25:10.490 --> 25:14.830 I have asked all these questions and I have found Nicholas Arthur's new book, 25:15.410 --> 25:19.690 When the Third Temple is Built, answers all these questions and more using 25:19.690 --> 25:21.270 Scripture to interpret Scripture. 25:21.990 --> 25:25.410 The Bible says that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private 25:25.410 --> 25:25.680 interpretation. 25:26.970 --> 25:29.850 Nicholas shows us in his new book, When the Third Temple is Built, 25:30.070 --> 25:34.470 how the Bible interprets prophecy and not man's private interpretation. 25:35.470 --> 25:44.630 Visit CrossTheBorder.org to get your print, e-pub, or pdf version of Nicholas 25:44.630 --> 25:47.850 Arthur's new book titled, When the Third Temple is Built. 25:48.250 --> 25:56.130 That's CrossTheBorder.org The book of Revelation says the spirit of prophecy is 25:56.130 --> 25:58.410 the testimony of Jesus Christ. 25:58.750 --> 26:02.450 This is at the very heart of FirstAmendmentRadio.com. 26:02.450 --> 26:07.970 In that spirit, we page 374, if you're following along, Dave Hunt says, A large wafer, 28:38.750 --> 28:42.270 one of these Jesus cookies, as I cynically call them. 28:42.350 --> 28:45.210 That's what many Protestants call them. 28:45.970 --> 28:50.830 This large wafer is exhibited for adoration in a monstrance. 28:51.430 --> 28:57.150 A gold or silver vessel with a transparent center for displaying the wafer. 28:57.150 --> 29:03.070 Seeing the sacrament, quote, stimulates the faithful to an awareness of the 29:03.070 --> 29:08.190 marvelous presence of Christ and is an invitation to spiritual communion with 29:08.190 --> 29:08.390 Him. 29:08.990 --> 29:15.990 It is therefore an excellent encouragement to offer Him in the wafer that worship in 29:15.990 --> 29:20.610 spirit and in truth, which is His due, unquote. 29:21.790 --> 29:22.930 That's right. 29:23.050 --> 29:31.410 They put the wafer in a very, very costly silver or gold, some of them are solid 29:31.410 --> 29:34.910 gold, fixture called a monstrance. 29:35.910 --> 29:47.290 And it is normally fitted with a glass door in the front, whereby everybody can 29:47.290 --> 29:52.790 see Jesus in this little fixture called the monstrance. 29:52.790 --> 30:00.070 And whenever they see Jesus coming down the street in the monstrance, they are to 30:00.070 --> 30:07.910 bow and genuflect and cross themselves, throw rose petals, worship and pray to it 30:07.910 --> 30:10.230 as though it were Jesus. 30:10.230 --> 30:18.510 Dave Hunt continues, an ex-Catholic writes, quote, Catholics bow down to a 30:18.510 --> 30:25.070 wafer that sits in a tabernacle on an altar and believe that it is actually 30:25.070 --> 30:26.070 Christ Himself. 30:27.010 --> 30:32.150 That's why as a child I was taught to make the sign of the cross whenever passing a 30:32.150 --> 30:33.990 Roman Catholic church, unquote. 30:33.990 --> 30:42.730 There is a revival across America of something called perpetual adoration of 30:42.730 --> 30:44.090 the blessed sacrament. 30:45.110 --> 30:51.070 Parish families sign up for an hour or more each week so that some devout are 30:51.070 --> 30:57.110 keeping Christ company, they say, in the worship of the host almost around 30:57.110 --> 30:58.290 the clock every day. 30:58.290 --> 31:04.590 Pope John Paul II approves enthusiastically of perpetual adoration, 31:05.530 --> 31:12.470 establishing exposition of the blessed sacrament in St. Peter's in 1981. 31:12.470 --> 31:20.030 He said this, quote, how great is the value of conversation with Christ in the 31:20.030 --> 31:20.950 blessed sacrament. 31:21.810 --> 31:27.270 There is nothing more consoling on earth, nothing more powerful for advancing along 31:27.270 --> 31:30.530 the road to holiness, unquote. 31:30.530 --> 31:36.410 There is nothing more holy that you can do, according to John Paul II, 31:37.070 --> 31:43.250 than to go to a Roman Catholic church, sign up to participate in the perpetual 31:43.250 --> 31:45.010 adoration of the host. 31:45.730 --> 31:54.790 And in your allotted time, you come to the church dressed in black or in a state of 31:54.790 --> 32:03.470 penitence and find a position in the pew or on your knees and pray to this piece of 32:03.470 --> 32:06.290 bread and keep Jesus company. 32:07.090 --> 32:08.650 I'm not making this up. 32:09.390 --> 32:11.150 Dave Hunt's not making this up. 32:11.150 --> 32:13.430 This is Roman Catholicism. 32:13.990 --> 32:15.270 This is an abomination. 32:16.390 --> 32:21.230 Under the subtitle, pagan pageantry to honor Christ, Dave Hunt continues. 32:22.230 --> 32:27.790 Enclosed in a monstrance, the wafer is also carried in procession. 32:28.770 --> 32:31.810 Procession is just another word for a parade. 32:32.870 --> 32:35.270 A public parade. 32:36.010 --> 32:42.510 It says, enclosed in a monstrance, the wafer is also carried in a procession. 32:43.570 --> 32:49.430 It is astonishing with what extravagant pageantry the host is paraded through the 32:49.430 --> 32:51.170 streets on special festivals. 32:51.990 --> 32:57.310 An early 18th century eyewitness and participant in the grand procession in 32:57.310 --> 33:02.610 Saragossa, Spain on the annual festival of Corpus Christi writes, quote, Now listen 33:02.610 --> 33:03.050 to this. 33:03.150 --> 33:03.850 This is lengthy. 33:04.630 --> 33:10.010 You're going to see in your mind's eye what this procession is all about. 33:10.730 --> 33:14.690 This is Roman Catholic Spain, one of the most Roman Catholic countries in the 33:14.690 --> 33:20.930 world, where this wafer is paraded up and down the streets and public streets, 33:21.370 --> 33:25.370 and people literally abandon their offices. 33:25.370 --> 33:33.210 All the dignitaries of state abandon their jobs, abandon their offices, and come down 33:33.210 --> 33:35.370 to the street to worship the piece of bread. 33:36.150 --> 33:42.470 Quote, the dean of the cathedral summons all the communities of friars, 33:43.290 --> 33:49.490 all the clergy of the parish churches, the viceroy, governor and magistrates, 33:49.490 --> 33:55.650 the judges of the civil and criminal council, with the Lord Chancellor of the 33:55.650 --> 34:00.670 kingdom, and all the fraternities, brotherhoods, or corporations of the city, 34:01.210 --> 34:06.550 to meet together in the Metropolitan Cathedral Church of St. Salvatore, 34:07.270 --> 34:12.870 with all the standards, trumpets, giants, and some of them are huge, 34:13.050 --> 34:18.870 wooden figures, 15 feet tall, dressed colorfully, in their respective habits of 34:18.870 --> 34:24.190 office and dignity, and all the clergy of the parish churches and friars of 34:24.190 --> 34:31.190 convents, to bring along in a procession all the silver bodies of saints on a base 34:31.190 --> 34:34.730 or pedestal, which are in their churches and convents. 34:35.190 --> 34:40.010 The inhabitants are to clean the streets, which the sacrament is to go through, 34:40.010 --> 34:45.490 and cover the ground with greens and flowers, and to put the best hangings in 34:45.490 --> 34:47.450 the fronts and the balconies of the windows. 34:48.470 --> 34:53.030 The viceroy goes in state with the governor, judges, magistrates, 34:53.150 --> 34:58.910 and officers, to meet the archbishop in his palace, and to accompany his grace to 34:58.910 --> 35:04.090 church, where all the communities of friars, clergy, and corporations are 35:04.090 --> 35:05.070 awaiting for them. 35:05.810 --> 35:11.410 After the archbishop has made a prayer before the great altar, the music begins, 35:11.970 --> 35:16.970 while the archbishop takes out of the tabernacle the host upon the rich golden 35:16.970 --> 35:22.230 chalice, and places it on the great custodia on the altar's table. 35:23.010 --> 35:26.210 The archbishop, in his pontifical habit, officiates. 35:27.010 --> 35:31.590 His grace giveth the blessing to the people with the sacrament in his hands. 35:32.270 --> 35:37.190 Then the archbishop, with the help of the dean, the archdeacon, and the chanter, 35:37.190 --> 35:50.690 placeth the custodia on a gilt pedestal, which is adorned with flowers and the 35:50.690 --> 35:56.310 jewels of several ladies of quality, and which is carried on the shoulders of 35:56.310 --> 36:02.330 twelve priests, dressed in the same ornaments in which they say the mass. 36:02.330 --> 36:07.550 This being done, the procession begins to go out of the church in the following 36:07.550 --> 36:08.010 order. 36:08.870 --> 36:14.750 First all the bagpipe, and the great and small giants, these colorful figures, 36:15.510 --> 36:20.250 dancing along the streets, followed by the big silver cross of the cathedral. 36:21.210 --> 36:26.950 Next come thirty corporations of tradesmen, the smallest is thirty people, 36:26.950 --> 36:34.950 then the boys and the girls of the blue hospital, with their master, mistress, 36:35.590 --> 36:36.350 and the chaplain. 36:37.250 --> 36:41.990 Then all the religious orders, led by the Franciscans, because they are 36:41.990 --> 36:42.630 the youngest. 36:43.470 --> 36:50.550 In all, about seventy orders, dressed in the ornaments that they use at the altar. 36:50.550 --> 36:56.690 There are twenty convents of friars, about two thousand present on this solemn 36:56.690 --> 37:03.490 occasion, sixteen convents of nuns, about fifteen hundred, and twelve hundred 37:03.490 --> 37:04.470 parish priests. 37:04.610 --> 37:11.170 In all, forty-seven hundred ecclesiastical persons, and the inhabitants come to 37:11.170 --> 37:13.810 fifteen thousand families. 37:14.610 --> 37:19.670 Then come the clergy of the cathedrals of Saint Salvatore, and the Lady of the 37:19.670 --> 37:25.170 Pillar, with all their sacerdotal ornaments, and the musicians of both the 37:25.170 --> 37:30.050 cathedrals, which go before the custodia, or sacrament, singing all the way. 37:30.810 --> 37:36.070 Then the twelve priests more, that carry the canopy under which the sacrament goes. 37:36.970 --> 37:41.830 The archbishop, in his pontifical habit, goes at the subdeacon's right hand. 37:41.830 --> 37:48.650 The viceroy at the archbishop's, and the deacon and subdeacon, one at the 37:48.650 --> 37:52.190 right, and the other at the left, all under the canopy. 37:53.250 --> 37:59.710 Six priests with incense, and incensories, are on both sides of the custodia. 38:00.230 --> 38:06.870 They go incensing the sacrament without intermission, while one kneels down before 38:06.870 --> 38:12.150 the great host and incenses it three times, the other puts incense in his 38:12.150 --> 38:18.030 incensory, and thus they do, from the coming out of the church, till they return 38:18.030 --> 38:19.330 back again to it. 38:20.050 --> 38:24.850 The great chancellor, presidents and councils follow after, with all the 38:24.850 --> 38:28.210 nobility, the men and the women, with lighted candles. 38:29.030 --> 38:33.530 This procession lasts four hours, from the time it goes out, till it comes 38:33.530 --> 38:34.670 into the church again. 38:34.670 --> 38:39.850 All the bells of the convents and parishes ring all this time. 38:40.710 --> 38:43.790 The riches of that procession are incredible. 38:44.830 --> 38:48.870 With this magnificence they carry the sacrament through the principal streets of 38:48.870 --> 38:52.890 the city, and all the people that are in the balconies and lattice windows, 38:53.070 --> 39:00.270 throw roses and other flowers upon the canopy of the sacrament as it goes by. 39:02.910 --> 39:06.050 This is Roman Catholic Spain. 39:06.830 --> 39:08.650 This is a regular occurrence. 39:09.990 --> 39:16.290 And if Rome had her way, this would be done everywhere in the United States. 39:17.170 --> 39:18.710 A once Protestant nation. 39:19.530 --> 39:24.770 And let me tell you, you are going to have a tough time finding an acceptable excuse 39:25.270 --> 39:29.790 to be absent from this idolatrous worship. 39:30.270 --> 39:36.150 And if your excuse is not satisfactory, you may be punished, and punished 39:36.150 --> 39:36.850 severely. 39:37.330 --> 39:43.430 And if you show up to this adoration, this parade of the monstrance, 39:44.390 --> 39:51.170 this parade of the Eucharist, the wafer down the streets, if you act untoward, 39:51.290 --> 39:57.330 you don't remove your hat, you do not courtesy and bow, and genuflect and cross 39:57.330 --> 40:01.770 yourself and pray to this thing, you're liable to lose your head. 40:02.670 --> 40:04.010 That's Roman Catholicism. 40:04.710 --> 40:08.930 You might think it's strange, never having seen or heard of this before. 40:09.670 --> 40:16.230 But you go to any Roman Catholic country and there are many, many videos on YouTube 40:17.150 --> 40:23.130 that you can watch demonstrating these processions in Roman Catholic countries. 40:23.910 --> 40:28.450 You can see what I have just described, what Dave Hunt has just described in his 40:28.450 --> 40:28.730 book. 40:30.270 --> 40:33.190 You can see a living motion picture on the internet. 40:34.010 --> 40:38.830 And if you don't believe this, the evidence is readily available. 40:39.650 --> 40:45.970 Now Dave continues, If this wafer is the literal priest-crucifixion body of Jesus 40:45.970 --> 40:50.570 Christ being offered on Roman Catholic altars around the world, then the 40:50.570 --> 40:52.510 pageantry is not overdone. 40:53.350 --> 40:54.170 Or is it? 40:54.170 --> 41:01.650 How did that one body become millions of bodies, each in the form of a tiny wafer, 41:02.410 --> 41:07.870 each one literally and physically Jesus Christ, whole and entire? 41:08.490 --> 41:15.990 How did the bloodied, old, rugged cross, with its shame and reproach, transmute 41:15.990 --> 41:20.250 into gold and become encrusted with diamonds? 41:20.250 --> 41:27.250 And how can bishops in their ornately embroidered robes of finest silk represent 41:27.250 --> 41:32.910 the one who hung naked on the cross and whose lifeless, battered body, 41:33.050 --> 41:36.070 wrapped in grave clothes, was laid in a tomb? 41:36.950 --> 41:43.130 How has the perpetuation of Christ's death become an incongruous farce? 41:43.950 --> 41:50.590 What does such pagan pageantry, with its gold and jewels, have to do with 41:50.590 --> 41:51.410 Calvary? 41:52.210 --> 41:58.110 How blasphemous is this parading before the world of the Church's boasted power to 41:58.110 --> 42:03.970 hold the pre-crucifixion body of Jesus Christ in its hands and offer Him again 42:03.970 --> 42:05.050 upon its altars? 42:05.870 --> 42:09.270 This dogma breeds fanaticism, not faith. 42:10.030 --> 42:15.810 The slaughter of the Jews in Deggendorf, to which we earlier referred, had been in 42:15.810 --> 42:22.690 revenge for their alleged stealing and torturing one of these consecrated wafers. 42:23.670 --> 42:30.370 Those conditioned to believe that wine had become Christ's blood were able to believe 42:30.370 --> 42:33.210 Hitler's myth of blood as well. 42:33.990 --> 42:35.530 Reality or fraud? 42:36.310 --> 42:40.910 This alleged power of the priest to recreate upon Roman Catholic altars the 42:40.910 --> 42:46.170 literal body of Christ and then to offer Him to God in a sacrifice of the mass in 42:46.170 --> 42:51.510 which our Lord is immolated and Christ perpetuates in an unbloody manner the 42:51.510 --> 42:56.550 sacrifice offered on the cross is the distinctive mark of the Roman Catholic 42:56.550 --> 42:59.630 Church, the synagogue of Satan. 43:00.510 --> 43:05.470 It is thereby, as we have noted, separated by an impassable gulf from all 43:05.470 --> 43:09.390 other religion and especially from evangelical Christianity. 43:09.390 --> 43:15.470 What we have here is either the most vital and miraculous reality or the most 43:15.470 --> 43:17.410 diabolical fraud. 43:18.210 --> 43:19.490 There is no middle ground. 43:20.370 --> 43:24.710 The Roman Catholic cannot deny that on the face of it, the claim of 43:24.710 --> 43:28.390 transubstantiation seems preposterous. 43:29.750 --> 43:34.570 There is no detectable change in the wafer or the wine after they presumably have 43:34.570 --> 43:40.910 been transformed through the priest's unique power into Christ's literal body 43:40.910 --> 43:41.510 and blood. 43:42.290 --> 43:47.090 How then can one be certain that this so-called miracle has occurred? 43:47.750 --> 43:53.590 As with so much else in Roman Catholicism, assurance comes only by blindly accepting 43:53.590 --> 43:55.010 whatever the Church says. 43:55.730 --> 44:00.190 Yes, some Bible verses are offered in support of this dogma, but the Catholic 44:00.190 --> 44:02.850 must accept the Church's interpretation of these. 44:03.150 --> 44:06.670 Though common sense and proper exegesis would reject it. 44:07.390 --> 44:12.370 There are two main passages from which the doctrine of transubstantiation is derived. 44:13.030 --> 44:19.410 John chapter 6 verse 51 through 57 and Matthew chapter 26 verse 26 through 28. 44:19.930 --> 44:26.270 Compare also Luke 22 verse 19 and 20 and 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 24 and 25. 44:26.770 --> 44:28.430 Let's consider them for a moment. 44:29.870 --> 44:31.470 Literalism or Symbolism? 44:31.470 --> 44:37.590 Referring to his impending crucifixion, Christ told the Jews in John 6 quote, 44:38.470 --> 44:43.810 The bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the 44:43.810 --> 44:44.250 world. 44:45.130 --> 44:55.070 Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, ye shall have no life 44:55.070 --> 44:56.490 in you, unquote. 44:56.830 --> 44:58.870 Verses 51 and 53. 45:01.190 --> 45:05.770 Catholicism takes these words literally and faults Protestantism for interpreting 45:05.770 --> 45:06.870 them symbolically. 45:08.390 --> 45:11.870 Christ also said quote, I am the bread of life. 45:12.330 --> 45:13.030 Verse 35. 45:13.910 --> 45:15.690 Why not take him literally here? 45:16.050 --> 45:17.590 Making him a loaf of bread. 45:18.410 --> 45:23.850 Is it any more foolish to say Christ is bread than to say a piece of bread is 45:23.850 --> 45:24.180 Christ? 45:25.380 --> 45:29.560 The Bible should be taken literally wherever that is its meaning. 45:30.180 --> 45:36.640 But not when analogy and symbolism is meant, and literalism would violate logic 45:36.640 --> 45:38.560 or God's laws. 45:39.760 --> 45:46.360 The psalmist said quote, He, meaning God, shall cover thee with feathers, 45:46.680 --> 45:50.020 with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. 45:50.340 --> 45:51.780 Psalm 91.4. 45:51.780 --> 45:55.060 Are we to picture God as a big bird? 45:56.180 --> 46:01.200 Jesus wept over Jerusalem, quote, How often would I have gathered my 46:01.200 --> 46:07.020 children together as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not, 46:07.660 --> 46:08.280 unquote. 46:08.940 --> 46:10.540 Luke 13.34. 46:11.480 --> 46:16.460 Surely he wasn't speaking literally, though he was identifying himself as the 46:16.460 --> 46:19.800 very one whom Moses wrote in Psalm 91. 46:21.640 --> 46:25.360 Jesus called mankind to believe on him. 46:25.820 --> 46:32.140 He told Nicodemus that those who believed on him, quote, would not perish, 46:32.360 --> 46:33.780 but have everlasting life. 46:34.200 --> 46:35.240 John 3.16. 46:35.800 --> 46:39.140 And that believing on him would bring about a new birth. 46:40.060 --> 46:44.060 He didn't mean a physical birth, however, but a spiritual birth. 46:44.820 --> 46:47.200 A fact which even Roman Catholics acknowledge. 46:47.900 --> 46:54.880 He promised to give the woman at the well living water, and even a well of water 46:54.880 --> 46:56.360 springing up within her. 46:56.460 --> 46:58.180 John 4.10-14. 46:58.560 --> 47:01.740 But he surely didn't mean physical water. 47:02.320 --> 47:06.580 He told the Jews that whoever would believe on him, out of his belly shall 47:06.580 --> 47:08.720 flow rivers of living water. 47:08.880 --> 47:10.300 John 7.38. 47:10.300 --> 47:17.260 But he meant neither a physical belly, nor a little, literal, physical rivers. 47:18.680 --> 47:23.340 In John 6, Jesus said, quote, I am the bread of life. 47:23.700 --> 47:28.120 He that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never 47:28.120 --> 47:28.680 thirst. 47:29.660 --> 47:30.540 Verse 35. 47:32.260 --> 47:38.340 That he didn't mean he was literal, physical bread, or that those who believed 47:38.340 --> 47:42.540 on him would thereafter never have the need for physical food or drink, 47:42.900 --> 47:43.620 is clear. 47:44.800 --> 47:48.100 But they would never hunger and thirst spiritually again. 47:49.560 --> 47:54.780 He was, of course, speaking spiritually, and illustrating his ideas with analogies 47:54.780 --> 47:56.820 from things familiar to all. 47:57.840 --> 48:02.780 Then why should he be taken literally, when a few moments later he says that one 48:02.780 --> 48:07.980 must, quote, eat, unquote, his body and his blood? 48:09.280 --> 48:15.320 Based on that crucial interpretive mistake, the Roman Catholic insists that 48:15.320 --> 48:18.560 the bread and wine is literally Christ. 48:19.800 --> 48:23.580 Let us follow that to its logical conclusion. 48:24.440 --> 48:29.860 If Christ was speaking literally about his body, then he must have been speaking 48:29.860 --> 48:33.920 literally when he said, quote, I am the bread of life. 48:34.560 --> 48:39.060 He that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never 48:39.060 --> 48:39.480 thirst. 48:39.620 --> 48:40.500 Verse 35. 48:41.620 --> 48:47.680 Since the Catholics claim to literally eat Christ's physical body, they should never 48:47.680 --> 48:49.920 physically hunger or thirst. 48:50.600 --> 48:52.260 But, of course, they do. 48:53.600 --> 49:01.280 Yet, if, quote, hungering and thirsting, unquote, are spiritual terms, then so must 49:01.280 --> 49:03.120 be the eating of his body. 49:04.400 --> 49:09.260 Obviously, Christ is saying that those who believe on him receive eternal life and 49:09.260 --> 49:13.120 don't have to keep coming back to him for another installment. 49:15.580 --> 49:19.960 Roman Catholicism insists that the faithful eat the body and drink the blood 49:19.960 --> 49:21.100 of Christ frequently. 49:22.320 --> 49:25.040 The more masses said, the better. 49:25.040 --> 49:30.400 Yet, even then, one can't be sure of making heaven without suffering and 49:30.400 --> 49:30.940 purgatory. 49:32.160 --> 49:37.720 The Roman Catholic Code of Canon Law, Canon 904, says, quote, Remembering that 49:37.720 --> 49:42.380 the work of redemption is continually accomplished in the mystery of the 49:42.380 --> 49:49.540 Eucharistic sacrifice, priests start to celebrate frequently, indeed daily. 49:50.060 --> 49:52.920 Celebration is strongly recommended, unquote. 49:53.840 --> 50:00.400 The Bible, however, assures us in numerous verses, which we've already quoted, 50:01.140 --> 50:05.260 that the work of redemption was accomplished once and for all on the 50:05.260 --> 50:08.860 cross, and that Christ's sacrifice is never to be repeated. 50:10.640 --> 50:17.180 Jesus Christ said, quote, This is the will of him that sent me, that every one which 50:17.180 --> 50:21.700 seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life. 50:21.800 --> 50:23.020 John 6, 40. 50:24.080 --> 50:28.520 Clearly, this believing on Jesus Christ, which he likens to eating him, 50:29.140 --> 50:34.480 figuratively, is a once and for all act. 50:35.180 --> 50:42.000 He doesn't say it must be done twenty times, a thousand times, once a day, 50:42.220 --> 50:43.240 or once a week. 50:44.240 --> 50:50.360 The moment a person believes on Christ, he or she receives forgiveness of sins and 50:50.360 --> 50:53.900 everlasting life as a free gift of God's grace. 50:55.140 --> 51:00.660 Clearly, a person who has received eternal life by once believing, eating, 51:02.520 --> 51:10.080 he equates believing with eating, need never repeat the act again. 51:11.220 --> 51:17.100 Otherwise, everlasting life is misnamed for something that is everlasting, 51:17.360 --> 51:25.380 but must last forever, and need not be renewed or reinforced. 51:26.920 --> 51:29.780 Consider Christ's words in the same chapter again. 51:30.320 --> 51:33.960 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that he that believeth on me hath, 51:34.720 --> 51:41.100 present tense, present possession, he hath everlasting life. 51:41.740 --> 51:43.480 I am the bread of life. 51:43.600 --> 51:46.540 Your fathers did eat man in the wilderness and are dead. 51:47.120 --> 51:52.540 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not 51:52.540 --> 51:53.040 die. 51:53.540 --> 51:56.420 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. 51:56.780 --> 52:00.080 If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. 52:00.080 --> 52:05.780 And the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of 52:05.780 --> 52:06.680 the world. 53:10.540 --> 53:13.560 Our programs come with strings that limit program content. 53:14.160 --> 53:18.660 So without your help, these programs cannot continue on satellite, internet, 53:19.300 --> 53:20.660 or our several affiliates. 53:21.600 --> 53:26.220 If you benefit by the educational law programs, we ask you to give. 53:26.600 --> 53:31.500 If you are admonished or nurtured by the Bible and ministry programs, we ask you to 53:31.500 --> 53:31.680 give. 53:32.180 --> 53:37.240 If some voice accosts that you are passionate about, we ask you to give. 53:37.240 --> 53:42.360 If you believe in any of these, we ask you to support them as you would a 53:42.360 --> 53:44.320 missionary on a continual basis. 53:44.860 --> 53:47.620 As if giving a tithe for missionary radio. 53:48.280 --> 53:53.180 These programs are not commercially viable and must be supported by those faithful to 53:53.180 --> 53:54.180 directly to a particular program host, cause, and anywhere else the spirit may 54:16.840 --> 54:17.420 lead you. 54:17.920 --> 54:23.660 Do all to the glory of our God and Creator, for His holy nation, the only 54:23.660 --> 54:25.860 kingdom that will last forever. 54:26.540 --> 54:27.860 Thank you for listening. 54:35.600 --> 54:41.300 Visit crosstheborder.org, C-R-O-S-S, 54:48.920 That's crosstheborder.org. 54:49.340 --> 54:53.000 When it comes to prophecy today, much of the Evangelical Christian world 54:53.000 --> 54:57.600 has their eyes on Israel, waiting and watching to see when the Third Temple will 54:57.600 --> 54:58.380 begin to be built. 54:58.380 --> 55:00.220 The plans are drawn. 55:00.300 --> 55:01.620 The Jewish people are eager. 55:02.260 --> 55:05.960 Most Evangelical Christians today believe that the rapture will happen before the 55:05.960 --> 55:06.940 Third Temple is built. 55:07.220 --> 55:08.900 Hi, I'm Michael Eugene. 55:09.460 --> 55:12.080 I was taught that Daniel's 70th week was in the future. 55:12.700 --> 55:14.320 Is that really what the Bible teaches? 55:15.000 --> 55:17.940 Have we searched the scriptures and found this to be true? 55:18.680 --> 55:22.280 Why is it so important for a re-established Israel to build a Third 55:22.280 --> 55:23.120 Temple in Jerusalem? 55:23.120 --> 55:28.360 Is it necessary to build a Temple on the same location already occupied by the Dome 55:28.360 --> 55:28.840 of the Rock? 55:29.440 --> 55:33.400 Is it necessary for sacrifices to take place in the Temple on Temple Mount? 55:34.020 --> 55:37.200 Is there really a rapture followed by seven years of tribulation? 55:38.000 --> 55:39.460 What is the New Testament Temple? 55:40.300 --> 55:42.440 Can we identify history and prophecy? 55:43.060 --> 55:46.220 Who is the first beast in Revelation Chapter 13? 55:46.980 --> 55:49.460 Who are the seven kings in Revelation 17? 55:50.060 --> 55:53.520 I have asked all these questions, and I have found Nicholas Arthur's new 55:53.520 --> 55:58.640 book, When the Third Temple is Built, answers all these questions and more using 55:58.640 --> 56:00.240 scripture to interpret scripture. 56:00.860 --> 56:04.380 The Bible says that no prophecy of scripture is of any private 56:04.380 --> 56:04.680 interpretation. 56:05.480 --> 56:08.780 Nicholas shows us in his new book, When the Third Temple is Built, 56:08.980 --> 56:13.460 how the Bible interprets prophecy and not man's private interpretation. 56:14.500 --> 56:20.760 Visit crosstheborder.org, c-r-o-s-s,
